Best Pumpkin Bread

This Pumpkin Bread Recipe is actually my wife Diane's.  It  is really easy to make  and by far the best pumpkin bread we have ever tasted..Moist and delicious! This recipe will become a holiday favorite and will become part of the Holiday tradition to pass down thru the generations.  We normally double or triple the recipe. Great for holiday gifts and you will eat way to much.. Enjoy!!

5 cups sugar
8 eggs
32 ounces of pumpkin (fresh or canned)
1 1/3 cup milk
7 cups flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon plus 1 tsp. baking soda
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons cloves
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Cream the butter and sugar in a mixer. Add one egg at a time. Add Pumpkin and milk and continue to mix. Once the wet ingredient is mixed together add all remaining dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula.
Pour into standard size bread pans.
Bake at 325 F for 55 minutes.
