Diane's Best ever Pumpkin Bread

 This Pumpkin Bread Recipe is actually my wife Diane's.  It  is really easy to make  to make and by far the best pumpkin bread I have ever tasted.. We normally double or triple the recipe. Great for holiday gifts and you will eat way to much.. Enjoy!!

Pumpkin Bread

1 pound margarine or butter
5 cups sugar
8 eggs
32 ounces of pumpkin (fresh or canned)
1 1/3 cup milk
7 cups flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon plus 1 tsp. baking soda
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons cloves
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Cream the butter and sugar in a mixer. Add one egg at a time. Add Pumpkin and milk and continue to mix. Once the wet ingredient is mixed together add all remaining dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula.
Pour into standard size bread pans.
Bake at 325? for 55 minutes.
Yields four loaves.
